Artist Brian Cote offered a contest recently. If you signed on to his mailing list you got a chance to win one of his 5x7" framed paintings. I like his work and I took my chance. To my surprise I won! I have sent out many paintings to customers and this was an interesting turn around for me to receive a painting in the mail.
The painting arrived in a well packaged cardboard box. It was layer after layer of packing, paper, bubble wrap, plastic wrap, and I wondered when I would get to the gift. There was a nice thank you card in an envelope and other little details. The frame was wired and ready to hang on the wall.
I don't know how successful Brian's campaign was. Why don't you ask him yourself.
