She said, "Where are you going?"  He just said, "Not sure."  Driving in the rattling blue Chevy pick up he thought about how big the sky was.  It was dusk and the sun showed all kinds of crazy colors against the clouds.  This was a kind of freedom.  It’s a feeling that only comes after you’ve been confined.  He thought about Rose, back at the house, standing in the kitchen, with the afternoon light shining on her face.  He was really lucky, he realized.
