I painted this in my Milwaukee studio.  Each painting allows me to look at things very closely.  Art is a way to see the world in a new way.  An uplifting image is what I am after.  The paint is very important to me so I use a palette knife and wax. Wax makes the paint thicker and every stroke shows.  The viewer can feel how the painting was created.  The wax also gives the paint a richer color and an unshiny surface.

My style is somewhere between impressionism and expressionism.

This 6x6" painting is done with high quality oil paint on a panel with a cradle on the back. This makes for easy hanging and a frame is optional. Paintings can be picked up or delivered. If mailed they come in a sturdy cardboard box.
